After quite the battle with design, CSS and cross-browser compatibility, I give you patrickhaney.com version 2.0.
This design is a complete rework and has been tested in all modern browsers. There are some issues with Netscape 6 and IE 5.2 on the Mac at the moment, but I hope to fix them soon. The site is XHTML Transitional and is heavily relying on CSS for layout and design aspects. Look ma, no tables!
What I tried to do with this site is make it jump off the page with color and style. Some of the images and buttons are reminiscent of OS X style icons and I've added slight gradients to backgrounds to give them a little more interest.
definitely got the color-jumping thing goin on, but for some reason its not really eye-catching, havent figured it out though , overall its nice bro, gj
I must say splat looks nice the colours, and the contrast for that page, the only problem i see is the "stop signla" is plane need soemthing like a 3d for the perspective you're using on that image !
i really like it. i just want to mention though that when you first look at it there is just so much information it is hard to know where to look. other then that nice work though i really like it. once i get around to updating my links section on my site i'll be adding your site.
I do like this a lot. And I'm particularly impressed that you have crafted this without tables and managed enough cross-browser compatibility. To be hyper-critical; I think it could be even more usable. The first thing we see, and the largest element on the home-page doesnt provide any functionality really, and thus navigation appears to come second.
Only a minor here though because everything is so clear. Great design. Couldn't you have just used tables?? Or am I missing something?
