Over the summer I made a trip to Chicago for a weekend and found quite a few beautiful sights to capture. One of my favorite places in Chicago ended up being the John Hancock Center, part of the Hancock Building, which sat below the gorgeously simple architecture of this tower to the sky. Looking up from ground, I managed to capture what I thought was my best photo of the trip thanks to the blue sky and the perfect lighting.
This shot hasn't been retouched even the slightest. What you see is what I saw the day I took the picture.
All thoughts, critique and suggestions are welcome.
Very nice photo of sweet home, Chicago! That's not a view I've seen very often. Usually, it's a straight on shot of the tower. This shot however is very interesting. It's imposing, but not intimidating. Chicago is a great spot if you love modern architecture. Really great shot!
